Otter Creek Sportsman’s Club is located in Cedar Rapids, IA and is open year round to the public.   With 7 trap fields and an additional skeet field.  We hold spring, summer and fall leagues along with general trap and skeet shooting.

The club hosts monthly ATA shoots annually from March through October, including our annual $1,000 shoot over the July 4^th weekend.  With cash and prizes of over $6,500, the 3 day shoot draws in over 130 shooters.  In addition, we honor Gene Hora on our National Trap Shooting Day shoot in October.  Our shoots are a combination of marathon, money & prize shoots.

Otter Creek Sportsman’s Club also hosts Derby shoots from October through March.  Non-registered 25 singles targets and 25 handicap targets are added together and paid out in lewis classes.  The more shooters that participate, the more lewis classes there are.  These Derby’s are a fun way to keep shooting in a competition format during the winter season.

Otter Creek is proud to continue to host the Paralyzed Veterans of America shoot each June.  Both Veteran and Non-Veterans Shooters can compete in their 2 Day National Shoot.

We continue to make improvements to the club house and grounds. In the summer of 2018, we poured new concrete fields on traps 3 & 4.  In the spring of 2019, trap fields 1, 2, 5 & 6 all got new concrete as well!
