Skeet Rules

Required minimum of 15 shooters to have a league

1 – Entry will be $5.00 per person on each team. Fee must be paid by the start of the fourth week of the league
2 – Otter Creek Sportsmans Club fee: $30.00 for each shooter due prior to the end of the third week. Family membership: $30.00 (applies to spouse & children under the age of 18) due prior to the end of the fourth week. Scores will not be posted if fees are unpaid.
3 – Starting date is May 6, 2008. Shoot offs & pot luck will be held September 6, 2008
4 – The first & second week of shooting may be made up during the second & third week. After the initial three weeks there will be no make ups without a valid reason
5 – There will be at least four shooters on each team. Team members will be drawn by the top shooters at the end of three weeks with the lowest of the top shooters drawing first. This will be done at the END of the THIRD week.
6 – Every member must complete the first three weeks of shooting by the end of the third week (May 25, 2008)
7 – League members shall be provided a membership card with space for each week’s score. It is the SHOOTER’S RESPONSIBILITY to keep track of the weeks & scores which have been shot
8 – A shooter who will permanently miss the remaining part of the league for a valid reason may be replaced with the consent of the League Secretary
9 – The competition week BEGINS on Monday & ENDS on Sunday night. Scheduled shooting days are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday. League or practice shooting is permitted on any of these days so long as they do not conflict with a special program
10 – Scores will be figured by the top three, four, or five scores. If a tie occurrs, all other scores will be used by both teams to break the tie.
11 – The skeet range will be closed on ATA shoot days
12 – The skeet leagues will have trophies for the first three places plus a high gun trophy for the top shooter
